a gnome's garden

commission done for a friend! 2014. her name is cleo; she just turned 101 last spring. she loves nature, & she just turned 101 last spring - my friend iris (the commissioner) & i joke about cleo being a "gnome", so i decided to draw a little fantasy nook of a magical forest somewhere. i was over the moon when cleo loved it!!!

this was a very fun foray into background illustration
